How Do You Know if Your Blog Visitors Will Trust You?

The biggest challenge for blog owners is figuring out a way to gain the trust of all those who visit. If you have been trying to figure out why you are not experiencing the results you want, then maybe your readers have a trust issue with you - here are a few things you can do.

It is easy and understandable to think, and hope, that if you create a nice looking blog, then folks will naturally just open up and there will be a thousand comments, etc. However, if you're not taking any steps to engage your readers then you're definitely going to have problems getting them to trust your blog. You would be surprised to see some people respond to a call to action such as telling them to write their feelings and thoughts in the comments section. It is fine to tell people to do something or ask questions that provoke them a little bit. Another great thing to do is create a post with questions, and you can put boxes to check off or even forms to complete with answers they write. Those are the kinds of things that can be effective if you say the right things or ask the right questions.

We have all seen terrible content in action, and what was probably the universal response and feeling? There are far too many online marketers who do their research at EzineArticles or other article directories, and the result is it is all the same. First of all, be honest about the content that you're generating and put in genuine effort to live up to the expectations of your readers. Content that is well-researched will get swiped, for sure, so get ready to send out DMCA take-down notices because it will happen. Have you not ever seen blog content that was so good and powerful that you were just in awe of it? Of course it has to be on the spot in terms of being applicable to what your market needs to know. You can truly captivate your audience, and become trusted, if you are willing to put the effort into this.

You can imagine the effect your phone number being on your site can be with your readers. This will help with resolving any issues as well as being a clear trust factor. The combination of your number plus a contact form will have a powerful effect. Obviously the best place to do this is on your contact page.

Developing a solid level of trust with your target audience should be your top level priority because it seems all else will flow from that connection.
