The flagship model of the Sanyo line is the HEC-DR7700K Zero Gravity Massage Chair. This massage chair retails for just under $5,000. The HEC in the part number is Hitachi Electric Company, who actually makes the chair for Sanyo. This massage chair comes with a number of high-tech electronic features. Many of these sensors have been located throughout the chair to provide a more customized massage.

When purchasing a shiatsu massage chair, it is important that you go with a group reputable company that will stand behind its products. Manufacturers vary about how they support the product. Bigger is not always better. Our experience with Sanyo is relatively short times to resolve issue, which is important. They have a call center located in the US for us English speakers which is open 24/7 for warranty issues.

Warranties that are longer and more comprehensive protect the customer and can provide additional value. Whereas, shorter and less coverage gives the customer less confidence in the manufacturer. What is Sanyo's warranty? 3 years on the roller mechanism, 1 year labor, 1 year parts. Sanyo did step up for in-home service for the first year. The warranty is a little short on parts and labor when you are buying a luxury massage chair.

What about the HEC-DR7700K Zero Gravity shiatsu massage chair? Zero gravity is a position where the pressure from your body is removed from your spine and evenly distributed across your back. Officially, the chair must lean back far enough so your knees are above your heart. This is a nice feature in the chair. It's a nice position to relax before and after a massage.

The HEC-DR7700K has a built in Stiffness Detection Sensor based on lie detection technology. The Stiffness Detection Sensor can locate stress points on your back. By monitoring changes in your perspiration and pulse rate, it can pinpoint areas in need of attention and focus the massage in those areas.

The Physical Shape Sensor adjusts the massage rollers to your body shape. The rollers adjust to your body shifts during the course of the massage. So for instance if you move in the chair, then the roller mechanism school actually adapt they are positioned based on where you are now laying.

The Sanyo HEC-DR7700K can massage you in 3 dimensions. It has a newly developed three-dimensional roller system called GK rollers. The exclusive GK rollers come over the top of your neck and shoulders. This innovative shiatsu massage recliner offers the first 3 dimensional massage functions. Your neck and shoulders will feel very relieved

Ultimately, it is the massage that makes or breaks the chair. The Sanyo DR7700K has an arsenal of 83 combination manual massage courses, 5 automatic massage courses and 4 full body automatic courses. Choose from Grip, Shiatsu, Kneading, Tapping, Kneading & Tapping and various stretches. Sanyo has a unique jointed massage head. This jointed massage head pushes outward to strongly grip your shoulders from above like a real masseuse. This is my review of the Sanyo DR 7700 massage chair.
