A water park design that incorporates a story theme through out the whole place is desirable. Many have already been built like this. Hours of storyboard and imaginative art work are poured into the production of the site. Most of the parks include winding crystal blue waters, white sandy beaches, a themed restaurant and a stage for the entertainment.

Superior amusement can be obtained through good quality rides and aquatic equipment. Fun water based attractions are a necessity when building a water park. The themed rides that we all love take advanced planning and research. From idea to finished product to maintenance and the cost of upkeep it is all carefully planned out ahead of time.

Exclusive and exciting composition is also essential when building an indoor facility. Incorporating multi levels can maximize limited indoor space. Technology and sharp composition are essentials in building whether indoor or outdoor. A solid theme coupled with the latest advances in aquatics is primary in planning and innovative for the guests.

Cost effectiveness is a very important aspect of water park design. With increasing costs in energy, choosing the right equipment and systems can make a big difference in operating costs. Cost effectiveness can determine long term financial strength and should be carefully considered.

Capture the magic while providing safe family recreation. The MAHC, or Model Aquatic Health Code, is a scientific standard for water park facilities. It is a uniform way to keep all the places safe for their guests. Certain health codes are mandatory in order to keep the facility clean and healthy for all. A visit to a park is a safe way to play together as a family. Every year more injuries from other sports are reported than from water parks. Employees at the facility must work together to ensure public safety.

This sector is a very responsible, professional industry as a whole and has a set of checks and balances within itself. Internal safety checks and several independent checks are routinely done. They strive to implement the newest and best safety procedures. The lifeguards and all employees are trained to give a superior standard of care.

Water should be clean and pure and safe to swim in. Regular testing and retesting are practiced to keep it clean and safe to swim. The industry endeavors to keep excellent records and health standards concerning the quality of the water.

The flow of traffic through out the park during wait times is something to be considered. Careful planning should address these issues as well as stroller parking and handicap access to the rides. Everyone likes a baby area where small children can splash around with their parents. Large and small attractions should be incorporated to keep guests coming back regularly.

Cutting edge entertainment and rides packaged up in one place has its challenges. Designers can take it on through careful research of their theme, using information from photographs, story books, articles, and whatever else they can find. Bringing the vision to life will take team work and cooperation from all parties involved.
